Dale Wayne Hamilton, age 58 of Athens, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Hospice Family Care. Mr. Hamilton was born July 18, 1960 in Arab, AL to John Junior Hamilton and Clara Speakman-Minor.
Graveside Services for Mr. Hamilton are Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Bottoms Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Michael Letson officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
He is survived by his mother, Clara Minor; brothers, Mark (Butch) Hamilton, Danny Hamilton and Tony Hamilton; sister, Lisa Temple (James); nieces, Jennifer Hamilton, Elizabeth Barnett (Daniel), Ashley Sanders (Travis) and Maggie Goodson (Lucas); nephews, John Hamilton (Nicole) and Ryan Hamilton (Elizabeth); great nephews, Aidan and Bentley; great nieces, Kadence, Paisley and Atley-Res.
Preceded in death by his father, John Junior Hamilton.
He served in the US Army from 1977-1978 and lived in St. Pete for several years before moving back home last year.
