Dale Ott was born September 30, 1962 in Selmer, TN the son of the late Clayton D. and Mary Owens Ott.

Dale grew up and graduated high school in Selmer. He was still known for being the left handed pitcher from his days of little league ball. He graduated from University of Tennessee at Martin with a B.S. in business. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, and was a true DIY man.

Dale worked at Kellogg’s formerly Procter & Gamble in Jackson, TN for 19 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Selmer and Tennessee Sports Foundation.

Mr. Ott departed this life on February 27, 2016 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 53 Years, 4 Months, 28 Days. He is survived by a sister, Robbie Volner and husband Karl of Selmer, TN; two nieces, Lindsey Volner of Memphis,TN and fiance’, Louis Ghawji and Kelsey Davis and husband Kirby of Nashville, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
