Mr. Dale Hammond, age 75 of Hartselle, Al. died Saturday January 25, 2014.
His service will be Monday January 27, 2014 at 3:00pm, at Unity Grove United Methodist Church in Pickens County Alabama with Bro. Jack Redfern and Bro. Mike Hall officiating and Peck Funeral Home Directing. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00-11:30am at Peck Funeral Home and then from 2:30-3:00pm at the church.
He was born November 21, 1938 in Pickens County to Fred Hammond and Ernesteen Hitt Hammond.
His father preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Edith Hammond of Hartselle, Al.

April Dale H. Kyles(Eddie) of Reform, Al.
His Mother- Ernesteen Hammond of Tuscaloosa, Al.
2 Brothers- David Hammond(Sue) of Tuscaloosa, Al.
Freddie Hammond(Cecilia) of Tuscaloosa, Al.
3 Grandchildren- April LeeAnn Crews, Dale Kyles(Brittany) and Cole Kyles(Hannah).
1 Great Grandchild- Eloise Kyles.
Pallbearersa will be- Roland Hammond, Jeremiah Hammond, Donald Babb, Dr. Bobby Babb, Donald Shelton, Clayton James, Tony Rubin and G.A. Weir.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the men of West Hartselle Baptist Church.
Mr. Hammond was a retired “Teamsters” over the road truck driver with Gordon Transport.
He was also a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church.
