Captain Dale Douglas Weaver Funeral service for Captain Dale Douglas Weaver, 84, will be Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery in Morgan County. Visitation will be Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Capt. Weaver passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born November 5, 1939, in Indiana, to Earl T. Weaver and Marvel Mae Ash Weaver.

He was employed as a Contractor – Dock Master, prior to his retirement. He lived life big and to the fullest. He was full of generosity and selflessness and was mischievous and could prank the stew out of you. He was a wood craftsman, a drummer in a band at one time, was a pilot and a Boat Captain and loved boating. Captain Dale was a “Jack of all trades” and a master of many. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Sons – Steven Douglas Weaver
Christopher Douglas Weaver (Dotty)

Sister – Sandy Vollman

Grandchildren – Jason Dale Weaver,
Brittni Nicole Springer,
Christopher Ellery Weaver and
Cortani Annette Wilson.

Twelve Great Grandchildren –

Niece and Nephew – Nancy and Brian Vollman

Pallbearers will be David Hopkins, Matthew Lindeman, Christopher Weaver, Jason Weaver and Kevin Lukowski.
