Dale David Jones, 93, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at home. Dale was a building material salesman and a member of Faith Church. He loved spending time with his beloved wife of 66 years, Peggy. His favorite past time was watching Alabama football games with his two sons, Brad and Don, along with his best friend, Henry Melton, while reminiscing about the good ole days. He always loved visiting with his family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, October 5, 2026 at Greenview Funeral Home from 10-11 a.m.
The funeral will be in the chapel at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Garden with Bro. Henry Melton officiating.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Claud and Vera Jones; brothers, Claud Jones, Jr. and twin Dallas Jones; sister, Mary Lois Matheny.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Peggy Black Jones; sons, Donald Jones (Sherry) and Bradley Jones (Duan); grandchildren, Brittney Jones, Alana Michael (Nick), Michelle Lash (Adam), Madison Jones, Justin Kelly (Yancy), Kookit McCoullouch; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Jameson, Walker, Ethan, Vera, Anna, Ennis, Eliza, Stetson, Ashia and Riley.
