Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Dadra Porter, age, 50 of Winchester. Ms. Porter passed away August 31, 2020. She is preceded in death by her mother, Martha Porter & father, James Porter; grandmother, Louise Oliver, grandfathers, Hoyt Oliver and Billy Wade Porter, cousin, Trina Skillen Simmons. She is survived by her children, Brittany Porter, Keisha Porter and Hoye (Brooke) Porter, all of Winchester; 8 grandchildren; aunts, Mary Ajen of Tampa, FL., Marcia Porter of Shelbyville, Joann Pitts of Murfreesboro, Shelia (Thomas) Baleyjack of Hendersonville, TN, and Robbie (Allen) Nelson of Newman, GA; uncles, Roger Porter and Larry Porter, Larry (Angela) Price both of Shelbyville, TN. For a number of years, she worked at CKR (now Tepro) and Tennessee Apparel. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. She attended Franklin County High School and later received her GED in Nashville. The family will receive friends at Watson-North Funeral Home Sunday September 6, 2020 between 12 noon and 1 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. John Patton officiating. The family will have a private interment.
