Graveside service for Cynthia Slater Wilson age 57 of Somerville will be Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 10:00am at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Frankie Flack officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is planned.
Cynthia, who was born October 9, 1963 in Huntsville to O.D. Slater and Patsy Ann Hicks Slater, died on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at her home. She was a 1982 graduate of Brewer High School and loved her family, her grandson, her 2 nieces, Alabama football and her dogs and cats. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Carlton L. Wilson; a son, Christopher L. Slater; a sister, Cathy Slater Johnson (Jeff); a grandson, Brody Olin Slater and 2 nieces, Abby and Chloe Johnson
Jerry Moon, Hayden Moon, Donavon Moon, Jason Moon, Ronnie Frasier and Don Layton will serve as pallbearers
