Cynthia Ruth Lanier, 69, of Hanceville, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Family will receive friends Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Blooming Grove Baptist Church of Curry. Memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. Bro. J.D. Dickerson will officiate. Cynthia “Granny” was born April 5, 1952, in Michigan and raised in Curry, AL. She was a resident at Hanceville Health and Rehab. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister. She will be missed by a host of family and friends that knew her as “Granny”. She is preceded in death by her parents, Max and Faye Lanier; siblings, James Lanier and Kelly Lanier. She is survived by her son, Mark Lanier; grandchild, Angel Lanier; great grandchild, Braxton Tyler Moore; sister, Pam Moser. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
