Cynthia Diane Coggins, 52, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 in Colbert County, AL. She was born in Iuka, MS on January 13, 1969. She was a caregiver to her mother.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 1, 4 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Hal Holt and Haskell Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her mother, Sandy Grissom; two daughters, Kendra Scruggs and Makaylee Wagner (Bryce); three grandchildren, Lathan Rogers, Novaleigh Evetts and Ian Wagner; special cousins, Jennifer Heatherly (Perry) and Kasey Cagle; five nephews, Dustin Farris (Jenny), Brodi Pounds (Mary), Gregory Blanton, A.J. Blanton and Will Calhoun; one great-niece, Oakleigh Jo Pounds and a host of special family members and friends that she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her special dads, Ronnie Coggins and John Grissom; her father, Hollis Rhodes; her grandparents, Dempsey and Berlene Cagle and Lee and Lucina Rhodes; a special uncle, Dale Cagle and a cousin, Gregory Cagle.
Pallbearers will be Chris Holland, Bryce Wagner, Allen Coggins, Jamie Deaton, Jamie Scruggs and Greg Dill. John Maxwell will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 1, 2-4 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
