Cynthia “Cindy” Patrice Fitzgerald, age 46, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 12PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Nelson Wilson officiating. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 11AM-12PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Cindy was born on October 21, 1973 in Columbia and was the daughter of Margie Fitzgerald. She was a 1991 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Cindy loved children and enjoyed babysitting, fishing and hunting.
She is survived by her children: Gerald Buchanan of Mt. Pleasant, Dereka Willingham of Mt. Pleasant; sisters: Bridget Burns of Maury County, Becky Fitzgerald of Columbia; and grandchildren: Kilynn Buchanan and Willow Willingham.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Paul & Rebecca Fitzgerald and cousin, Rodney Fitzgerald.
