Curtis Worden – Obituary

A Celebration of Life service for Curtis Worden, 62, will be Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Worden died on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at his residence. He was born July 25, 1953, in Greenville County, South Carolina to Leslie Lee Worden and Lola Jeanette Atkinson Worden. Curtis was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of the American Legion. Through his love of music, Curtis and his friends formed a band known as the “AB Boys” later known as a “Property Line”. They played everything from bluegrass to Rock-n-Roll. He was an active outdoorsman, who loved to fish and camp. When not working on his old home, he was a Mechanical Engineering Manager for Emerson Network Power. His children and grandchildren meant everything to him. Curtis never met a stranger and will be remembered as a fun, kind, generous, positive and gentle soul. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Thomas Worden, Taft, TN

Michelle Cummings, Accokeek, MD,
Mary Crabtree, Prospect, TN and
Carrie Massey, Taft, TN

One Brother:
Chip Worden, LynnHaven, FL

One Sister:
Chery Wilson, Meridianville, AL

11 Grandchildren
