Curtis Woodrow Romans, age 79, of Florence, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 16, at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, in the funeral home chapel, with Brother John Davis officiating. Interment will be at Rhodesville Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Romans was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was the owner and operator of Alabama Lock Service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Romans.
Survivors include children, Joe Romans (Valerie), Pamela Moore (Torrey); sisters, Bernice Isom, Thelma Bergman; brother, Norman Romans; grandchildren, Grace Moore and Jared, Jason and Joel Hamm.
A special thanks to Hospice of Tennessee Valley, especially his nurse, Vickie, for her unending patience and care.
