Curtis Thompson, age 87, of Sheffield, AL passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM at Colbert Memorial Chapel, with service to follow in Chapel at 12:00 PM. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Member of First Nazarene Church of Muscle Shoals with Bobby Amos officiating. Curtis was retired from Reynolds after 40 years of loyal Service.
He was preceded in death by parents; Isom and Mae Thompson, mother of children; Lou Stutts, brothers; Troy and O.C., sister; Aslee Nichols and Lola Prince.
Survivors will be wife, Geneva “Ginsy” Thompson, sons; Larry Thompson Sr. (Mary) of Eatonton GA, David Thompson (Pinky) of Florida, daughters; Ruth Choat (Roger) of Tuscumbia, AL., Carolyn Byrd of Pelham, AL, Mary Holman (Dale) of Muscle Shoals, AL.
Pallbearers will be Larry Thompson Jr.,Bill Aston, Brian Thompson, Brad Thompson, Matt Thompson, Richard Byrd. Honorary will be Tommy Garner.
