Funeral service for Curtis Merriman, 84, will be Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ryan Childers officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roundtop Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Merriman died on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Woodland Community Hospital. He was born December 4, 1932, in Morgan County to Buck Bryant Merriman and Ellen Harris Merriman. He was employed as a dairy farmer and a logger prior to his retirement. He was a “God fearing” Baptist in his faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: B.H. Merriman, and two sisters: Albagial Holt and Zora Smith.
