Curtis Lovvorn – Obituary

Curtis Lovvorn, 78, of Woodville, passed away Friday. Mr. Lovvorn was retired from TVA Widows Creek and was a member of the Free Holiness Church for 55 years. He was a member of Gurley Holiness Church for 30 and a member of Landmark Free Holiness Church for the past 4 years.

Mr. Lovvorn was preceded in death by his parents: Jewel and Ninnie Lovvorn; two children: Rebecca Faye Lovvorn and Curtis L. “Pete” Lovvorn; two sisters: Imogene Wright and Margaret Reed; and brother: Leonard Lovvorn.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years: Marrian Lovvorn; daughter: Ginger White (Stephen); five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three brothers: E.H. “Buddy” Lovvorn (Lois), Lowell Lovvorn (Nancy), and Marvin Lovvorn (Diane).

Visitation will be Saturday, May 28th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Service will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Landmark Free Holiness Church with Rev. Chad Holland and Rev. Joe Ventress officiating. Mr. Lovvorn will lie in state two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
