curtis-englebert-1474894525Curtis L. Englebert, age 81 of Dora, passed away Sunday September 25, 2016 at V.A. Medical Center in Birmingham. He was a member of the Twilleytown Church of God of Prophecy, a licensed minister of The Church of God of Prophecy, and a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Funeral service will be Wednesday September 28, 2016 at 11:00 am at Twilleytown Church of God of Prophecy. Burial will follow at Shanghi Cemetery. Rev. Don Stanton and Bishop L.V. Jones will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Wednesday from 10:00 am-11:00 am at Twilleytown Church of God of Prophecy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Golden D. Englebert, brothers, John “Finkle” Englebert; Joseph Englebert; George “Pujam” Englebert; Clarence Englebert; Robert Hughey Englebert; and baby Englebert.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Christine J. Englebert, children, Austin (Elisé) Englebert; George (Kathy) Englebert; Debra “Dee Dee” (Gary) Eason; Timothy (Jennifer) Englebert, grandchildren, Kristina (Anthony) Smith; William Englebert; Cameron Englebert; Gabrielle Englebert; Keith (Tasha) Johnson; Kayla (Lee) Johnson; Greg Englebert; and Katie Englebert, five great grandchildren, sisters, Martha Humber; Patricia (Joe) Hebert; and Bonnie Englebert.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made payable to Twilleytown Church of God of Prophecy for Global Missions at P.O. Box 128 Quinton, AL 35130.
