Curtis Dale Chambers, 77 of Hulaco passed away Wednesday November 26, 2025, at his residence.
Mr. Chambers was born November 30, 1947, in Arab, Alabama the son of Donald Leonard Chambers and Ophelia “Pete” Carter Chambers. He served with honor and courage in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a construction worker.
He is survived by his wife: Shirley Claburn Chambers; children: Cody Chambers (Brenna), Shannon Jones (Jessie), Shane Speegle (Deanna),Terry Speegle (Mary), Jimmy Wayne Speegle (Julia),; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; a brother: Jeff Narrell (Tammy), sister: Glenda Barnes and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Erin Nicole Speegle, his parents: Donald and Ophelia “Pete” Chambers, two brothers: Ray Chambers and Gary Don Chambers.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 29, 2025, at Gober Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Ellenburg Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Gober Funeral Chapel
