Currun Cleveland “Cleve” Humphrey
Born February 25, 1930 in Santa Fe, Tennessee to Tom and Era Warf Humphrey of Murray County, Tennessee.
He graduated from Santa Fe High School. He attended the University of Tennessee and Tennessee Tech and received a law degree from Cumberland School of Law in 1952. He received a commission in the Army Judge Advocate General Corps in 1953.
He married Margorie Price of Lebanon, Tennessee in 1953. After returning to civilian life in 1956, he received a degree in engineering from Tennessee Tech in 1958 and moved with his family to Huntsville, AL where he established his law practice in 1959.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, a son Currun Humphrey, Jr. of Huntsville, AL, daughter Ann Garwick (Bill) of Hoover, AL, daughter Janet Fly (Jim) of Harvest, AL. Two grandchildren, Zack Taylor of New Market and Meredith Fielder of Chattanooga, TN and many nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Madison Church of Christ.
