It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Crystal Jewell Harrison; a loving wife, mother to three, daughter, sister, and friend to many.  Her passing was tragic and unexpected as she succumbed to mental health issues.

Crystal grew up in Huntsville/Athens area and literally left her mark throughout town during her youth.  After settling down in the Athens area, she attended Calhoun Community College where she earned her Associates in Nursing and continued her work at the Athens-Limestone Hospital as a Registered Nurse for several more years.  Eventually moving to Madison, she focused on raising a blended family whom she loved; they were her world and her theirs.  She was a loving, caring woman who would help a stranger if needed; often volunteering her time at local food banks.  She touched the lives of countless people, many of whom praised her friendship, compassion, strength, and love for her family.

Crystal had a passion for art, crystals, gardening/plants, baking, the outdoors, animals, and family.  She leaves behind many physical reminders of her passions and unfinished works that will all become part of her legacy and reminders of her.  She will be missed by many and continue to be loved in the hearts of friends and family.

She is survived by her Husband, three Children, Mother, Siblings, and countless Uncles/Aunts/Cousins/Nieces and Nephews, two dogs, and two cats.  She will be forever missed and may she rest in peace.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where a viewing will be held for family and friends, followed by a Celebration of Life.  The family requests no flowers/cards/gifts be sent as you presence is what matters.  Personalized notes to Crystal can be placed inside her casket, and are encouraged.
