Crystal Gayle Gibbs Bean, age 44 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at her residence. She was born on November 9, 1977, in Tullahoma, Tennessee to Debbie Floyd Gibbs and Roger Gibbs. Crystal is a 1996 graduate of Franklin County High School, where she excelled academically and lettered in cheerleading. She won a full scholarship in cheerleading to Motlow and later cheered for MTSU. In 1996 she won the Franklin Co. Jr Miss pageant. In her younger years she took tap and ballet classes from Sonny Simmons and piano lessons from Pam Boswell. A very talented lady in theater she performed in many plays at the South Jackson Civic Center. She was also a very talented piano player. Crystal worked for Comcast and AT&T until the birth of her son, and she then became a full-time mother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winchester. Crystal enjoyed working in her flower beds, being on the lake water skiing, and going out to eat with her son. Crystal loved her family, her animals especially dogs, but most of all loved being a mother. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Betty J. and George Rogers Gibbs and Ray Floyd Jr. Crystal is survived by her parents, Debbie L. Gibbs, and Roger and Denise Gibbs; son, Harrison Bean; father of her son, Scott (Shaun) Bean; siblings, Jonathon (Taylor) Gibbs, Wendy L. Gibbs and Cody (Felicia) Brown; nieces and nephews, Griffin, Asher and Serena Gibbs and Kaitlin Simmons; grandmother, Bonnie (John) Grant; uncle, Michael Ray Floyd; and former-in-laws, Bill and Peggy Ward and Jackie and Donna Bean. Visitation for Crystal will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 1:00pm from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
