Craig Leeth – Obituary

Mr. Craig Leeth, age 63, a resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Sheriff Bucky Rowland officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on December 3, 1954 in Boaz, Alabama, Craig was the son of the late Ernest Lee Leeth and the late Oneda Pack Leeth. He worked four years as a Sheriff Deputy for the Madison County Sheriff’s Department in Madison County, Alabama. He also worked many years as a private investigator in Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee, but Craig took the most pride in being the owner and operator of Otis Farm Log Homes from 2007 – 2012. He married his wife, Bobbie, on February 23, 2001. Craig was extremely compassionate to animals, and especially loved his dogs. Later in life, he enjoyed trucking and being on the open road. Craig was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May his memory be eternal.

In addition to his wife, Bobbie, he is survived by his son, Dusty Leeth of Thompson Station; grandchildren, Shane Leeth of Thompson Station and Lily Hancock of Spring Hill; and brother in law, Donald Honour of St. Pete, FL.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pansy Tilly and brother, Kenneth Leeth.

Pallbearers will be: Andy Flessas, Dusty Leeth, John Giliam, Dan Isbell, Randy Whidby, and Joe Holt.
