Crack Cocaine Nets Arrest In Decatur

DECATUR-Decatur Police Department’s special Operation Unit with the assistance of madison-Morgan HIDTA STAC Team served a warrant resulting in arrest of foour.  Here is How the Decatur Police describe the case:

SYNOPSIS OF OFFENSE & ARREST:

“On March 27th 2014, members of the Decatur Police Department’s Special Operations Unit along with the assistance of Madison-Morgan HIDTA STAC Team executed a narcotics search warrant at the residence of 323 1/2 Memorial Dr. Northwest Decatur, Alabama.

During the execution of the warrant, officers located several subjects that were loitering in the yard of the residence. Johnny Strong Jr., Jaylin Strong, Thomas Strong, Maurice Owens Jr. and a female juvenile were detained. Officers then began a search of the residence.

During the search, officers located a quantity of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia inside the residence. The charges are as follows:

Johnny Darryl Strong Jr.: Unlawful Possesion of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Jaylin Lemal Strong: Loitering

Thomas Anthony Strong: Loitering

Maurice Orlando Owens Jr. : Loitering

All subjects were transported to Decatur City Jail and booked in.

Johnny Strong Jr. was later transferred to Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $3,000.00 bond.

Jaylin Strong, Thomas Strong and Maurice Owens Jr. were held in Decatur Jail on a $500.00 bond each until their bond was satisfied.”
