Coy Rolen McAdams – Obituary

Coy Rolen McAdams, age 85 of Quinton, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Princeton Brookwood Baptist Hospital.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Long Memorial Methodist Church, he will lie in state from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church, with burial at Sardis Cemetery on the River Road. David Dale will officiate.

Coy was retired from Pemco/Hayes with over 30 years of service. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. Coy was raised in Union Chapel, lived in Cordova for 33 years and on the Warrior River for the last 27 years. He was an avid Alabama Fan and enjoyed fishing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his Wife of 50 plus years-Geraldine Ivey McAdams; Parents-Robert and Eva McAdams; Son-Robert Randall (Randy) McAdams; Brothers-Paul and Roy.

He is survived by his Son-Larry McAdams (Dixie); Grandson-Paul McAdams (Kelly); Great Grandchildren-Gracie Jane, Chloe Randi and Ivey Noelle.
