Coy Bagby – Obituary

Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Mr. Coy Bagby age, 87, of Winchester. Mr. Bagby passed from this life peacefully on June 22, 2018, while at his residence. He proudly served our country while in the Army, serving in the Korean War. Mr Bagby worked as a tow truck operator for General Motors for 31 years. He was a long time member of the Decherd Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Mabel Bagby, daughter; Brenda Sue Melcher of Rockford, Illinois, grandsons; Bobbie Melcher, James Grider, Gary Grider, sisters; Eva Cox of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Mary Price, Greensboro, Kentucky, brothers; Robert Bagby, Junior Bagby both of Greensboro Kentucky, Val Bagby of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Danny Bagby of Justice, Illinois, numerous great grandchildren, and special cousin James Jefferies of Hodginsville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Monday June 25, 2018 from 11-2 with the service following at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Nolan officiating.  Interment will be held at Franklin Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Jimmy Martin, Jerry Crownover Pete Williams, Robbie Melcher, Larry Roberts and Joe Hazelwood will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be shared at www.watsonnorth.com
