COVID-19 vaccine to be given June 11 in Russellville

RUSSELLVILLE-A community COVID 19 vaccination clinic will be held on Friday, June 11, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Russellville Parks & Recreation Department, Chucky Mullins Center,located at 814 Hamilton St., Russellville, AL 35653. Vaccine is provided at no charge.

The clinic will be offering these two COVID-19 vaccine options:

·        One-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine for people age 18 and older
·        Two-dose Pfizer vaccine for ages 12 years and older (Parental consent is required for 12- and 13-year-olds.)

The following are partners for this clinic held in conjunction with the Franklin County Health Department: Russellville City Schools, Franklin County Alabama Democratic Executive Committee, and the Alabama Coalition for Immigrant Justice.

In addition, both the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine and the two-dose Moderna COVID-19 vaccine are available daily at the Franklin County Health Department, 801 Highway 48, Russellville. Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointments are required.
