Cova M.Robbins – Obituary

Cova M.Robbins was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on December 11, 1923 the son of the late Joe Thomas and Carrie Maybelle Murphy Robbins.

On October 17, 1942 he was united in marriage to Gladys Stricklin, who preceded her husband in death on December 26, 2004.

Cova served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was a farmer and was a minister where pastored many churches from 1947 to 2003.

Cova departed this life on August 24, 2012 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 88 years, 8 months and 13 days.

He is survived by one daughter, Joyce Riley of Clifton, Tennessee

2 grandchildren, Jason Riley and his wife Lori and Shayne Riley and his wife Brandi

5 great grandchildren, Will, Lydia, Lylah, Hannah-Beth and Brodee

one brother, Thomas Robbins of Iron City, Tennessee and six sisters, Selma Newton, Charlene Davis and Kathleen Foust, all of Savannah, Tennessee, Velma Smith of Collinwood, Tennessee, Jewelean Holt of Muscle Shoals, Alabama and Emogene Moore of Florence, Alabama

In addition to his parents and his wife, Cova was also preceded in death by one brother, Waco Robbins
