Cory Nash Coker

Age 41 of Waverly, formerly of White House, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 in White House, TN. He was born May 24, 1980 in Nashville, TN to Charles Allen & Sherry Nash Coker, Jr. Cory graduated from White House High School in 1999 and was a member of the 1997 White House State Football Championship Team. He was also named Midstate MVP for White House as a soccer goalie. He was employed as a supervisor for Scepter, Inc. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and had been attending New Life Church in Waverly. Cory was also a member of Magic Valley Golf Club in Camden and was an avid golfer. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charlie and Nellie Coker; maternal grandparents, George and Fern Nash; brother, Charles Allen “Trey” Coker, III. He is survived by his wife, Megan Coker, Waverly, TN; son, Train Nash Coker, White House, TN; step-daughter, Jewelynn Fisher, Waverly, TN; mother, Sherry Nash Slagle, White House, TN; father, Allen Coker, Hendersonville, TN; brothers, JC (Jacquelyn) Slagle and Tyler Slagle; sister, Graycey Coker, all of White House, TN. Funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 3pm at Temple Baptist Church 117 Marlin Road White House, TN 37188 with Bro. H.D. Jones, Jonathan Finch, Bro. Gene Hannah and Paul Branlund officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery with Seth Kirby, Jonathan Kirby, Ethan Kirby, JC Slagle, Tyler Slagle, Jason Neely, Brian Jones, Joey Rogers and Jarod Juillerat serving as pallbearers. Visitation is planned for Thursday, June 17, 2021 10am until the hour of the service at the church.
