Cornelia Hammond Bergin , age 90 of Lexington, AL passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at ECM Hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Lauderdale County, AL, a retired Lexington Town Clerk, and a member of Lexington United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be held at Lexington United Methodist on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Sam Hayes will be officiating. Burial will follow in Pettus Cemetery. Mrs. Bergin will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Lexington United Methodist Church.
