Corie Lamar Claude, age 42, husband of Angela Cothron Claude, and a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 18, 2024, just ten days shy of his 43rd birthday.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on February 28, 1981, in Columbia, Tennessee, Corie was the son of William Thomas Claude and the late Doris Warfield Claude. A graduate of Columbia Central High School in 2000, he married Angela on March 18, 2006. Corie dedicated eight years of his career to HCA. A true gentle giant, he was a remarkably talented artist who found joy in Halloween and had a passion for his cars.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his beloved children, Jay Jay Claude, Haylee Claude, Jaylen Claude, Addison Claude, brother, Brandon (Priscilla) Claude, paternal grandmother, Katherine Smothermon Claude, mother and father in law, Terry & Libby Cothron, sister in law, Brittany (Paul) Newcomb, brother in law, Terry (Melissa) Cothron, Jr., aunts, Adrienne Brandon, Tersa Crosby, Tasha Goodwin, uncles, Robert (Edith) Warfield, Jr., Clay Warfield, Gary Warfield, Tim Warfield, Robert “Cal” Belefant, Edward “Poochie” Claude, Michael (Monica) Claude, Franklin Claude, nephews, Nicholas Claude, Jackson Claude, Andrew Claude, Joshua Chapman, Alex Newcomb, Terry Arthur Cothron, and nieces, Kennadie Newcomb, Terrissa Cothron, and a host of cousins.
Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert “Hooks” Warfield, Marsha Dobbins, Joseph Claude, Elsie Holmes, aunts, Robbie Warfield, Brenda Warfield, and uncles, Chucky Belefant, Edward Warfield, and Larry Dobbins.
