Corey Maurice Carruth, 39, of Tuscumbia, passed away January 21, 2014
Visitation will be Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 11-1pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel, with funeral services to begin at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel. Burial to follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Hollis Retherford officiating.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ben Lindley, B.F. Carruth Jr., Elizabeth Carruth and sister: Shannon Carruth
Survivors include his mother, Kay Cross (Randy)
Father, Charles Carruth (Karen)
Grandmother, Rubie Lindley
Brother, Chad Carruth (Amber)
Sisters, Sarah Carruth and Amy Crumpton
Nephews, Connor Carruth and Nathen Liles (Bridget)
Niece, Trinity Carruth
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Carruth was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served his country during Desert Storm, as a Communication Specialist. Corey was of the Baptist faith.
