Cordelia Fae Jobe Feather went to be with her Lord on Monday October 2, 2023, in Huntsville, Alabama.

Cordelia Feather was a loving wife and wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, Hugh Morgan Feather in 2003 and one grandson, Morgan Feather in 2019.

Survivors include son, Brian Feather and wife, Sara; daughter, Karen Lynne Wheatley and husband, Douglas; sister-in-law, Mary E. Khan and husband, Agha; eight grandchildren: Steven Wheatley and wife, Ali, Britteny Hamilton and husband, Joshua, George Wheatley and Amanda Petty, Yani (Vina) Purwaningsih, widow of Morgan Feather, Rebecca Feather, Daniel Feather and wife, Amy, John Feather, Josh Story, and Stacy Story; and six great grandchildren: Jackson Wheatley, Lettie Wheatley, Virginia Wheatley, Luke Hamilton, Ben Hamilton, and James Hamilton.

Mrs. Feather earned an Associate degree in Applied Science in Data Processing Technology from John C. Calhoun State Community College in 1983 and a Bachelor of Science from Athens State College in 1992. She was recognized by the National Honors Society in Business Administration and was accepted into the Alpha Iota Chapter of Delta Mu Delta at Athens State College in 1991.

A graveside service was held at Valhalla Cemetery on Tuesday October 10, 2023. A separate Memorial Service is to be held at the New Market United Methodist Church in New Market, Alabama on Thursday December 28, 2023.
