On the evening of June 6, 2025, Corbin Lynn Smith gracefully received her heavenly wings. With joy in her step and light in her soul, she walked through the gates of Heaven, twirled with delight, and leapt into the loving embrace of her father, reuniting with him in eternal peace.

Born on October 28, 1991, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, in Nashville, Tennessee, Corbin was the cherished daughter of Jill Manchester Smith and the late Jeffry Wayne Smith. A proud graduate of Lincoln County High School’s Class of 2011, she was also a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ.

Corbin radiated warmth and kindness, effortlessly connecting with everyone she met. Her heart was generous, her spirit vibrant, and her conversations always meaningful. She had a remarkable gift for making others feel seen, heard, and loved. Corbin found joy in the magic of Disney — a passion she was blessed to experience in person before her health declined.

Corbin passed away at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, laughter, and love. She will be deeply missed by her devoted mother, Jill Smith; her loving sister, Molly Keller Smith; and a wide circle of extended family and treasured friends who will forever hold her memory close.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 5 PM until 7 PM at Higgins Funeral Home, with a celebration of Corbin’s life to follow at 7 PM. A graveside committal service will take place on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 10 AM at Wrights Cemetery.

Higgins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Corbin Lynn Smith — a bright light who touched many lives and now shines among the stars.
