Cora Mae Thorn Odom, age 94, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Arabella Health.
Cora Mae was born on July 28, 1930, as the oldest of nine children to Oscar & Evelyn Garrison. She loved her family very much.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Taylor (Johnny); grandchildren, Trinity Gardner (Chad), Rose Mary Omalley (Danny); great-grandchildren, Jessica Isbell, Katherine Thomas (Dylan), Matthew Putman (Miranda), Jayden Wilson, Alexis Whitaker; 13 great-grandchildren, brothers, Charlie Garrison, Robert Garrison, Hershel Garrison, Kermit Garrison; sisters, Jean Smith, Sherry Marbutt; and a host of nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Thorn, L.C. Odom; daughter, Sheila Faye Thorn; parents, Oscar & Evelyn (Dye) Garrison; brothers, Billy Garrison and James L. Garrison.
The visitation will be 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 11:00 in the chapel with Bro. Jim Poss who will be officiating the service. The burial will be at Blue Springs Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Danny Omalley, Jayden Wilson, Dylan Thomas, Matthew Putman, Chad Gardner, and Johnny Taylor.
