Cooking for Justice….eat…drink and enjoy!

useFLORENCE-Teams from across the community are coming together to once 2012_10_25_6377again fire up grills, heat up the ovens and share those special recipes for a great cause.  Cooking for Justice and all proceeds will benefit Shoals Area Crime Stoppers.

This palate titillating event will take place at the Regency Square Mall on October 24 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  Advance tickets to taste all the delicious delights will be $5.00 per person.  Tickets the day of the event will be $7.00 per person and ages 4 and under are free with an adult ticket purchase.   You can get your tickets at the HoneyBaked Ham Cafe and the Shoals Chamber of Commerce.

Come out…enjoy the food…. there will be entertainment and door prizes.  And do not forget to vote for the best team theme and best recipe.

Law enforcement agencies from multiple counties have joined forces to help solve crimes in northwest Alabama; the combined efforts have led to increased arrests and help to insure public safety. Through Shoals Area Crime Stoppers’ anonymous tip line(256-386-8685), which is available 24 hours a day 7 days, information is received and if it leads to an arrest, the caller may be eligible for a reward up to $1000.00. The “Tip Money” is supported through various fundraisers and donations from the community, allowing Shoals Area Crime Stoppers to keep the program running, and continue their fight against crime.

“Cooking for Justice” is the largest fundraiser CrimeStoppers presents. The culinary offerings are unique and there are so many delicious choices available! The public is encouraged to come out and support the program that has become an important part of stopping crime.
