Constance Lynette Harris-Bunker, better known as Connie, age 62, of Rainsville, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026. She was a graduate of Marion County High School.
Music was a lifelong passion for Connie, and she found a way to turn that love into a career through her photography brand, Rock My Soul Photography. With a camera in hand, she photographed bands, musicians, and live performances, combining her creative eye with her love for the music and the people who made it. It was more than something she photographed—it was a world she genuinely loved being a part of.
Connie also deeply loved the Gulf Coast. She loved the salty air, the relentless heat of the sun, the sound of waves rolling onto the shore, and nighttime swims in the Gulf. There was something about being near the water that called to her, and the coast remained a place she returned to and loved throughout her life.
Anyone who knew Connie knew that she had a personality all her own. She spoke her mind freely and unapologetically, no matter who was in the room, and you rarely had to wonder what Connie was thinking. She could also be the person you called when you wanted a long, connecting conversation—one that could be insightful, thought-provoking, funny, or all three.
She had an enormous desire to make holidays feel magical, especially for the people she loved. Connie had a gift for welcoming people into her home and making an occasion feel special. She loved preparing food, creating beautiful spreads, and filling a table with the little details that made people want to gather around it. Whether it was a holiday, a celebration, or simply time spent together, she knew how to create an experience and make a home feel full.
Connie is survived by her daughter, Ashley Terral (Katie Longmore); her granddaughters, Lavender and Lola Terral; her sister, Chele Miles (Wade); her brother, James Harris (Christy); her nephew, Boone Bussey; her niece, Bailee Rose Bradshaw (Dwain); her nephew, Connor Harris; her great-nephew, Duke Bradshaw; her great-nieces, Demi Bradshaw, Drue Bradshaw, and Dezi Bradshaw; and her stepfather, Brian Wellberg.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Bunker, and her parents, Jim Harris and Lynne Wellberg.
