Constance "Connie" Lynn GoreConstance “Connie” Lynn Gore, age 52, of Arab, Alabama passed away under hospice care on the morning of Saturday, June 22, 2024 at her home while surrounded by her loving family. Connie was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on December 30, 1971 daughter of Martin Fredrick Caldwell, Jr. and Emma Adelaide Mergogey Caldwell. She had relocated from Athens, AL and was a member of Arab Church of God. Connie and her husband, Paul Randolph Gore III have been married for over 31 years. For that same length of time Connie has been Co-owner and administrator of Paul Bunyan Tree Service.
Connie was a lady with a variety of interest, her family being top priority. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Connie loved to sing and music was important to her. She especially enjoyed rock and roll. She loved the beach and could sit and listen to the rhythm of the waves and feel the gentle breeze for hours at a time. Connie was also a big fan of NASCAR and 1970’s black TransAm.
Family members surviving and cherishing their precious memories of Connie include: her husband, Paul Gore III; father, Marty Caldwell, Jr.; mother, Penny Walters; son, Paul Gore, IV; daughters, Jessica Gore and Brittany Gore; grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Ivy Gore, Easton Smith, Deanna Gore, Paul R. Gore V, Noah White, Cohen Everett and soon to be Lily Sue Everett; brother, Martin F., Caldwell, III; step brother, Michael Caldwell;
Preceding Connie in death is her step-father, Douglas Walters.
Services for Connie will be on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel in Arab, AL. The family will receive friends and guest at a visitation between the hours of 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Brother Jim Hale will be officiating. Pallbearers escorting Connie to her final resting place in Arab Memorial Cemetery will be Paul Gore, III, Landry White, Cyle Lutz, Trace Everett, Marty Caldwell and Nathan Smith.
