Constance Campbell Payette was born in Rockland, Maine on November 3, 1925 to Robert Alexander Campbell and Lucia Clark Campbell.
She was raised in Auburn, Maine until she left for Orono, Maine where she graduated from the University of Maine with a BS degree in 1947. She moved to Huntsville in 1955 when her husband was stationed at Redstone Arsenal.
Constance went back to school at UAH in the early 1970s and graduated with a BS in Education. She spent most of her career teaching in the Huntsville City System. She taught at Joe Bradley, Ridgecrest, Whitesburg, and Colonial Hills. After retiring she taught math at Redstone Arsenal to US Army Aviation Students.
Constance is survived by her son, Robert Francis Payette.
