Ms. Connie Leslie Turner age 67 of Youngsville, NC, (formerly of McMinnville, TN) died Friday, April 15, 2022, at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, NC. Born April 29, 1954, in McMinnville, TN, Connie served as bookkeeper at RL Turner garage and sales associate at Crystal Gayle jewelry in Nashville, TN. Devoted to her family and community, she had a wonderful sense of humor which endeared her to everyone she knew. While living in McMinnville, Connie attended Bethany Church of Christ, Oakland Church of Christ and Central Church of Christ.
Connie was preceded in death by her father Richard Leslie Turner, mother Mattie Irene (Parish) Turner, and nephew Michael Turner. Survivors include her partner Charles Oakley, her sister and brother-in-law Karleen and Bill Frazier, son and daughter-in-law Derrick and Julie Stembridge, grandchildren Cole and Molly Stembridge, niece Sonya Talerico, second cousins Brandon Jones, Bethany and Michael Talerico, third cousin Reagan Jones and dear friend Sissy Wray.
Graveside memorial services and inurnment will be held Saturday April 23, 2022 at 3:00 pm, at Gardens of Memory in Smartt, TN. Bro. Doug Bost will officiate. There will be no visitation at the funeral home as family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
