Connie Joan Alexander, age 59 of Leighton, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. Her visitation will be Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Truman Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Shaw Cemetery.
She is a native of Sheffield and a member of the Cowboy Church of Colbert County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Lena Davis Hill.
Survivors include her loving husband, Ray Borden; son, Bobby Alexander; daughters, Sondra Posey (Matt) and Shannon Rice; brothers, Michael Hill and Donnie Hill; sisters, Betty Sue Stutts, Shirley Jones and Teresa Cobb; 6 grandchildren, Andrew, Alyssa, Abby, Braden, Colton and Cooper; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
