Connie Hovater Johnson, passed away August 12, 2013 at age of 60, after an extended illness of Ovarian Cancer. Visitation will be Wednesday August 14, 2013 from 12-pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel, with a memorial service to honor her at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel. Reverend Stanley Hargett of Russellville, will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Mary Ruth Hovater, brother, Danny Hovater, and niece Heather May.
Survivors include the love of her life, Danny Johnson
Two nieces, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and special friends.
Pallbearers will be Bill Alexander’s Sunday School Class
Connie was born in Russellville, AL October, 1952, she was a member of Barton First Baptist Church. She retired from T.V.A. after thirteen years, managed the Carriage Shed, retiring in 2010 upon its closing. She graduated from Russellville High School and the University of North Alabama.
