Connie Elaine Plylar Willingham, age 66, Russellville, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at her residence.
Connie was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family very much. She loved working in her flower gardens and having her cats around.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the service following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be at Taylor Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Van Willingham; sons, Scott Simpson, Brian Willingham; grandchildren, Christian Simpson, Kailee Simpson, Justin Thompson, Sheena Baker; great-grandchildren, Victoria Rose Thompson, Clinton Baker, Addie Wade; brothers, Jerry Hulsey, James Plylar; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Plylar and grandmother, Josephine Hulsey.
The pallbearers will be Shone Willingham, Derrick Willingham, Jerry Garrett, Brandon Garrett, Henry Martinez, and Alex Macias.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Amedysis Hospice, and the doctors and nurses that has taken care of Connie during her illness.
