Connie Anne Cribb, age 65, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away on May 4, 2025. She was born on September 23, 1959, to the late Wilburn “Bo” Artis, Jr. and Burma Dean Shealy.
Connie found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved attending church, cross-stitching, fishing, and watching wrestling—often attending live events with friends. Her greatest companion was her beloved Shih Tzu, Sophie, who rarely left her side.
She is survived by her son, Michael Phillips; daughter, Stephanie (Jon) Powell; granddaughter, Kayleigh Powell (Hunter Wood); and stepfather, Delmar Shealy. She also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her siblings: Johnny Artis, Donnie Artis, and Peggy Stephens.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Marshall Memorial Gardens.
