Funeral service for Coney Gale (Shirley) Finger, age 84, of Decatur, AL will be 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 17, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home in Trinity, AL. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens. Bro. Shane Williams and Bro. Sammy Evans will officiate.
Mrs. Finger entered Heaven’s Gate on Friday March 13, 2026; she was born in Winston County, AL on May 31, 1941. She was a faithful member of Oak Grove FCM Church in Trinity for over 20 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Ruby Dean Alexander Shirley and Jewell Franklin Shirley; her husband, Ronald Gene Finger; daughter, Majesta Vanhoozer; granddaughter, Courtney Green Barnett; grandson, Jaxon Avery McLemore; and brother, Murphy Alexander.
She is survived by her children: Pamela Vasseli (Steve) of Michigan, Bethanna Sherman of Decatur, Ron Finger (Suzie) of Trinity, and Danielle “Dani” Reaves of Hatton; brothers, Danny Fulmer and Frank Shirley, both of Decatur; sisters, Joanne Evans (Sammy) and Karen Jackson (Kurt), all of Hartselle. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; plus numerous extended grands, family, and friends
