Meet Zebulon! This handsome boy will turn 1 year old on August 9 and currently weighs 41 pounds. According to the person who surrendered him, Zebulon crates well, is house-trained, and does great with strangers and other dogs.
He may chase cats, but not with the intent to harm them. His previous owner had nothing but positive things to say about him. Zebulon is a wonderful dog who is ready to become a beloved member of a new family.

Dear Future Family,
I’ve been waiting for you since January.
I don’t really understand why I’m here. One day I had a home, and then my person was deployed. It wasn’t anyone’s fault, but it meant I had to say goodbye and come to the shelter.
I’ve watched so many of my friends leave. Every time someone walks by my kennel, I wag my tail and hope maybe this time… it’ll be me.
I’m only about 2 years old, and I still have so much life to live. I love people. I love other dogs. I can be a little goofy, and I’m always happy to make someone smile. This past week, I even started training! Everyone tells me I’m doing a great job, and I’m trying so hard to be the very best girl.
I don’t need a perfect family.
I just need my family.
Someone to throw a ball, laugh at my goofy moments, let me rest my head beside them after a long day, and promise that this time… home is forever.
