Columbus Cordell Green, 77, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Aug. 4, 2014.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday Aug. 7, in the chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Brother Joe Bogle and Brother David Harris are officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Nora Green, wife, Margaret Jane Minor Green, and infant son.
Survivors include his daughter, Vickie Caldwell (Michael);
grandson, Jonathan Caldwell (Mattison);
brother, Gordon Green;
sister, Mary Ellis; and a host of loving family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Caldwell, Michael Caldwell, Hayden Watts, Ronnie Patterson, Michael Peden, and Randy Doss. Honorary pallbearers will be Gordon Green and Tom Alexander.
Mr. Green was a member of East Colbert Church of Christ and a member of the Labor Local No. 366 for over 40 years.
