Funeral service for Colt Mintz Iverson, age 21, of Decatur, will be Friday, March 7, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Free officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 6, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Iverson, who died Saturday, March 1, 2014, in Decatur, was born January 6, 1993, in Decatur, to Jody Iverson and Kim Jeffries Iverson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lauren Cole Iverson of Decatur; his parents, Jody and Kim Iverson of Decatur; four brothers, Phoenix, Noah, Cole, and Deacon Iverson, all of Decatur; and grandparents, Bob and Louise Iverson of Decatur, Bill and Pam Jeffries of Orange Beach, AL, and Will and Donna Miner of Rockledge, FL.
Pallbearers will be Trey Hargett, Samuel Nokovich, Paul Holdbrooks, John Ford, Grey Sexton, and Justin Emberton.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to the Bentley Colt Iverson Fund at any Bank Independent location.
