ALBERTVILLE CITY SCHOOLS – Classes will be delayed by 2-hours on Wednesday, January 3, through Friday, January 5.
ARAB CITY SCHOOLS – Two-hour delay on Thursday, Jan. 4 and Friday, Jan. 5.
BOAZ CITY SCHOOLS-2-hour delay Thursday-Friday. 12-month employees report at regular time.
COLBERT COUNTY SCHOOLS-School delayed until 10 a.m. Thursday & Friday.

DEKALB COUNTY SCHOOLS – Classes and buses will be delayed by 2-hours on Wednesday, January 3, through Friday, January 5.
FAYETTEVILLE CITY SCHOOLS – Schools will be closed Friday, January 5. Classes will resume on Monday, January 8.

GUNTERSVILLE CITY SCHOOLS-Will school start times by two hours for the remainder of the week.
HUNTSVILLE CITY SCHOOL-School Delay for Wednesday, January 3 – Friday, January 5
Huntsville City Schools will delay the start of classes by two hours from Wednesday, January 3 through Friday, January 5, due to extreme cold weather conditions.
All elementary, middle, P-8, and junior high classes will begin at 10:00am, and doors will open at 9:00am for student drop-off.
All high school classes will begin at 10:30am, and doors will open at 9:30am for student drop-off.
Buses will run on a two-hour delayed schedule. Breakfast will be made available each morning.
All elementary, middle and junior high teachers / staff may report to work at 9:00am.
All high school teachers / staff may report to work at 9:30am.
The district will continue to monitor weather conditions and send out additional notifications if schedule changes are needed.
