TUSCUMBIA – Frank Williamson and wife, Amanda have traveled practically every road in Colbert County. Frank has shaken thousands of hands, kissed babies, appeared in parades. If Hard Work is the arbiter of a successful political campaign, then Williamson is the poster child.
Surrounded by supporters and family, Williamson took the Oath of Office Tuesday night at the Tuscumbia Station Roundhouse. He was introduced to the audience by Circuit Judge Hal Huston, and was sworn in by County Judge Chad Coker.
