SHEFFIELD-Colbert County Tourism Bureau is excited to announce the collaboration with KatMama Industries for the Youth Fishing Derby. The event will take place on June 10th from 8:30 am until 1:00 pm at Riverfront Park, located at 1416 Alabama Avenue in Sheffield, Alabama.
The Youth Fishing Derby aims to provide a fun-filled day of learning the basics of fishing and water safety for young anglers. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their fishing skills and gain valuable knowledge about responsible fishing practices. The event promises to be an educational and entertaining experience for children and families alike.
Colbert County Tourism Bureau is dedicated to promoting outdoor activities and preserving the natural beauty of the region. The Youth Fishing Derby aims to foster a love for nature and encourage responsible outdoor recreation among the younger generation.

The derby will be supervised by experienced instructors who will guide the participants through the basics of fishing techniques and water safety. Participants will be divided into age groups and will have fishing gear to take home.
