COLBERT COUNTY-Colbert County Schools will be closed on February 15 and 16 and Monday, February 19 to let students recover at home and to deep clean facilities of the flu virus that has been prevalent in Colbert County Schools. School will resume on Tuesday, February 20.
Several other school systems in the area have closed due to the flu virus. Cullman County Schools and Fayetteville City Schools in Tennessee were out this week due to illness. All school districts in Marshall County were out as well this week due to flu.
